Our 2006 Frontenac is by far the best red wine we have produced to date!!!  Previous Frontenac vintages have earned us several bronze medals at the Indy International Wine Competition.  This years earned us a gold!!  We are so proud of it in fact and people are loving it so much, we are only allowing this for sale over the internet for a limited amount of time. 

This year’s Frontenac has the typical cherry and plum characteristics you expect out of a good Frontenac.   However, this years vintage (we attribute to the care taken by our main Frontenac growers, the Mohn Family) came in especially deep in body with an extra strong slightly smokey plum characteristic.  The bouquet is of raspberries and cherries topped off with a finish of chocolate and slight tobacco and a nice velvety mouth feel.  This is truly our best Frontenac to date and we know you will enjoy this international gold medal award winning wine produced from 100% Minnesota grown grapes.
