Violators may be charged federally with wire and credit card fraud, and under multiple state laws prohibiting the attempted purchase or possession of alcohol by minors. Penalties include monetary fines, jail time, criminal probation, loss of driver's license and a criminal record that must be disclosed on job and college applications. Additionally, per federal law, shipments of alcohol are labeled as such and need to be received AND SIGNED FOR by a person that is of legal drinking age. This includes showing valid proof of age. Any returned shipments due to the inability to deliver will only be shipped a second time at the expense of the customer! Please make sure that the address that you are shipping to will be able to receive this type of shipment! All wine shipments are made via Federal Express.  If ordering within the state of MN, there is a 9% applicable sales tax for all alcohol purchases.
